The SL-15’s lightweight design provides easy and versatile operation with a choice of 10x and 16x magnification, 3 slit widths, plus spot illumination and a cobalt blue filter using pure white halogen light as the light source. The SL-15 is a compact and portable hand-held slit lamp that is ideal for the domiciliary environment. The SL-15 is especially useful in emergencies, where patient mobility is a challenge or when switching between consultancy rooms. Offering cordless rechargeable operation, the large battery capacity provides long lasting, continuous operation of the extra-bright halogen lamp. The stand doubles as a charger and can accommodate both the main unit and a spare lithium ion battery simultaneously. The slit lamp supports digital or video cameras via the optional c-mount camera adaptor for instant imaging.
